Basic FunctionsThe Mortgage Servicing Associate will process a variety of loan servicing transactions in a friendly, efficient, and accurate manner and in accordance with all Hickory Point Bank and Trust policies and procedures. The Mortgage Servicing Associate will be responsible for various reports and preparing correspondence in a timely and accurate manner. Communicate effectively with customers, servicing companies, and bank staff in person and over the phone.
Essential Duties
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring that homeowners' insurance coverage is in place and adequate for all mortgage secured loans, including escrowed and non-escrowed loans
- Coordinate all force-placed insurance coverage
- Perform a variety of system file maintenance
- Perform check back of file maintenance
- Handle customer inquiries in a professional, timely manner
- Assist with various special projects
- Perform additional duties assigned by management
- Provide back-up for other operational positions as directed by management

- High school diploma is required; Associate degree or higher preferred
- Loan operations experience, preferred
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel. PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Confidentiality, high degree of integrity
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Portray a professional image of self and the Bank
- Willingness to accept ongoing projects as necessary
- Standing, filing, bending, kneeling, keyboarding, telephone usage, climbing stairs & ladder, sitting for extended periods of time
This is a full time, non-exempt position eligible for a robust benefit package.
The successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, background check and credit check are required.
