Crack Open the Possibilities – Order Runner Associate!!

The Order Runner focuses on orders by checking the run sheet periodically throughout the day. They make date changes as required by state regulations and implement product changes according to the run sheet. Additionally, they notify denestors, packers, stackers, and USDA graders of any changes. The Order processor also ensures that labels are stocked correctly in the packing lanes.

The Order Runner position at Hickman's Family Farms entails strict adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), alongside compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality guidelines.

Job duties and responsibilities:

• Ensuring Run Sheets are available for relevant personnel
• Providing the Stock Associate with the Set Up Sheet each morning.
• Setting up the Moba Machine and programming lane packers according to the run sheet.
• Clearing dates and counters from the previous day.
• Loading all cartons into machines and preparing for daily production.
• Verifying and updating all dates accurately.
• Generating labels and supplying packers with sufficient quantities for the day's production.
• Checking cooler inventory and coordinating with management for necessary supplies.
• Collaborating with the Manager and Front Office for hourly recaps.
• Requesting recaps at designated intervals to ensure orders are fulfilled for the following day.
• Following up consistently on any order changes throughout the day.
• Monitoring email for inter-company orders and recording them in the Order Book.
• Conducting visual inspections of egg products to ensure packaging integrity.
• Checking use-by dates and lot numbers, verifying labeling accuracy.
• Ensuring proper storage of products to prevent cross-contamination.
• Checking cooler inventory two hours before the completion of egg production.
• Verifying order completion with the Manager before machine shutdown
• Signing off on the daily recap and submitting it to the Production Manager, ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications and Skills

• Capable of standing for up to 8 hours a shift or more
• Capable of lifting 20lbs. throughout the shift
• Standing, bending, twisting, reaching and hand / finger dexterity required
• Awareness of surroundings
• Alertness
