HR Generalist-Payroll & Training Coordinator
SUMMARY:
Provide administrative support for the Human Resources office and encourage positive and
constructive working relationships among employees, persons served, customers and other
community agencies. Provide guidance and direction to personnel with regards to organizational
policy, union agreements, credentialing, benefits, and compensation. Responsible for the
maintenance of employee training programs, and monitoring compliance. Also, responsible for
oversight, monitoring, and coordination of organizational safety operations throughout the three
county service area.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Associate’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related area preferred.
Will consider previous work experience in lieu of education.
2. 3-5 years experience in human resources, payroll, health care, or municipal entity preferred.
3. Experience developing/coordinating agency-wide training programs; demonstrated
knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles.
4. Experience with spreadsheet, database, word processing and computer applications required.
5. Demonstrated customer service, written and verbal communication skills.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of organizational safety and OSHA standards.
7. Appointment is subject to a driver’s license and criminal background check.
8. Must be at least 18 years of age; possess a valid driver's license; and provide own
transportation.
SALARY: Exempt |Non-Union | $40,456.00 - $53,294.00
WORK HOURS: Full Time | Regular |40 Hours a Week
