JOB PURPOSE: Provide local delivery route driving for our publications. Employee will aid the circulation staff with a primary responsibility in the Circulation Department, with duties such as answering incoming phone calls, logging service requests and entering subscriptions. Tasks will include data entry, querying reports, resolving customer issues and updating internal databases, as well as stocking and maintaining racks. A quality skill set in inter-personal communication is necessary to succeed in this position. 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Coordinating distribution, circulation sales, preparing forms and reports relating to distribution of our newspapers and other publications we produce. 
2. Updating of in-house forms such as draw forms, special promotion reports etc., including BCI circulation reports. 
3. Promoting circulation sales and expanding our community reach and readership.
4. Posting data and processing label runs for all newspapers and commercial printing. 
5. Preparing weekly job sheets for processing label charges for commercial billing if assigned.
6. Maintaining subscriptions – activation, labels, complaints, stops, starts and may post payments. 
7. Handling customer service and sales –incoming and outgoing sales transaction calls.
8. Explaining our products, services, promotions and pricing.
9. Obtaining customer information such as name, address and phone for accurate subscription delivery.
10. Keeping track of customers that have been contacted and those who do not want to be contacted in the future. File for reference. Follow up on previous customers “prospects” for potential sales.
11. Working with our circulation software’s home delivery database to enter starts, stops, complaints, service requests, deposits, payments, etc. for any products. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license and automobile insurance that meets minimum Company requirements,.
