Housekeeping Positions

  • Wage: $15.50/hour
  • Full-time position
  • Day shift 11AM-7:30PM
  • Background check, drug screen, and proof of employment eligibility required
  • Location: Tempe St. Luke's Hospital

We’re looking for friendly, compassionate, team players to join our housekeeping team!

Manage and support patient satisfaction program (HCAHPS). Act as a liaison between the housekeeping (EVS) department, nursing, and other departments to provide excellent care for all patients.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor patient satisfaction scores and assess action plans for improvement
  • Provide department leadership with weekly reports and detailed review
  • Create reports, monitor trends, and implement action plans
  • Round on patients to assess satisfaction and set service expectations
  • Perform service recovery as needed to resolve issues
  • Assist department leadership to train and reinforce communication skills (AIDET) with team members
  • Collaborate with guest services department to align action items to improve patient satisfaction
  • Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
  • Friendly, outgoing, and engaging personality
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized with an eye for detail
  • Must practice good personal hygiene, be neatly groomed, and be in uniform
  • GED or high school diploma
  • Preferred: Housekeeping experience (cleaning, environmental services, custodian, janitorial, room attendant, floor care technician, hotel operations, patient care, patient experience, healthcare)
