Responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing and administering all nursing and patient care services management activities. Organizes and administers areas of Patient Care Services to attain the hospital’s objectives established by the Board of Directors and Corporate.
Observe professional ethics in maintaining confidential information acquired concerning the personal, financial, medical or employment of patients, families, and employees of DRMC.
Must follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patients and DRMC.
Must report safety hazards and initiate appropriate action.
Must participate in safety instructional programs.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and possesses current Alabama nursing License. Graduate of an accredited MSN program, or plan to obtain or equivalent in demonstrated nursing supervision, specialties.
Experience: Minimum of five years hands on nursing experience. Five years nursing leadership with demonstrated ability in the management of clinical staff and performance improvement concepts. Advanced nursing education is desired with equivalent knowledge and skills. Must be able to perform work according to hospital and professional standards.
License/certification: Licensed by Alabama Board of Nursing as Registered Nurse required.
