HH Global is Hiring a Research Program Manager, Global Market Insights Near Chicago, IL
Purpose of the Job As a Research Program Manager, you will be leading the process management aspect of our client's brand and perception tracker. This program will serve as our client's consistent drumbeat of internal and external advertiser signals, synthesized from quantitative tracking research, qualitative customer interviews, secondary social and share of voice research and first party search data. The Research Program Manager will be working closely with researchers across the Global Market Insights team and internal stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of the tracking program that meet internal quality rigor and are aligned to research briefs. Additionally, you will be working with vendors, ensuring timelines are met and key progress metrics are reported. The Research Program Manager's primary responsibility is to ensure all workstreams are operating seamlessly and working together to tell a single narrative for our client. This position will be based remotely in Canada. Key Responsibilities
Program & Process Management:
Managing program timelines with internal teams, internal stakeholders and external vendors
Develop and manage project plans and artifacts to monitor program progress, stakeholder and partner updates
Develop, update and maintain processes, process documentation and workflows
Ensure smooth fieldwork for survey portion (i.e. hitting weekly quotas, sample quality guardrails in place and utilized, fielding happening on schedule, etc.)
Assist in defining, developing and managing program/project management controls and processes necessary to add structure and efficiency to overall project execution
Communication & Coordination:
Update and maintain internal project/program websites and documentation
Develop, update and maintain communication plan
Draft research snippets, newsletters and other communication materials
Ensure all workstreams (survey, first party search, and secondary share of voice) are operating smoothly and working together to meet broader project timelines
Manage research vendor communications to ensure project milestones and ad hoc requests are delivered on time
Research & Analysis:
Deliver stakeholder analysis and data requests
Provide initial data analysis and insights on research
Coordinate complex analysis requests with internal research leads and external vendors Provide perspective on technical areas related to research (i.e. sampling strategy, quotas, sample size, etc.)
Analyze sample quality, blend, and distribution across markets and waves of research
Help tie findings across workstreams to align on a single narrative for our client
Knowledge, Skills Experience
8 years of experience driving research projects from ideation to implementation, with a strong focus on managing complex and global B2B initiatives
Research project management experience in both quantitative and qualitative market research methodologies
Experience in project managing multi-country market research projects
Creating workstream processes, project documentation and communication
Maintaining timeline and communications strategy across multiple workstreams feeding into a broader program (i.e. survey, secondary research, and first party data)
Data analysis and analytical skills
Experience in B2B research including sampling and quality management a plus
Analytical experience in a marketing environment a plus
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without the need for current or future employer sponsorship
