Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage fire engineering projects from conception to completion - Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and standards - Conduct site visits and inspections to assess fire risks and develop appropriate fire protection strategies - Design and implement fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems - Prepare detailed project plans, including cost estimates, timelines, and resource allocation - Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure timely completion - Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety standards - Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and field personnel Skills: - Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize tasks - Proficiency in construction management software, such as ProCore, Prolog, or HeavyBid - Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Knowledge of construction estimating techniques to accurately assess project costs - Familiarity with schematics and blueprints to interpret design plans - Strong understanding of fire safety regulations and codes - Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to diverse stakeholders - Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
