Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our team. As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining laser cutting machines to produce high-quality parts and components. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Duties: - Set up and operate laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and form metal parts according to specifications - Review blueprints, work orders, and other instructions to determine the best approach for each job - Select appropriate tooling and materials for each project - Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency - Perform routine maintenance on laser cutting machines to keep them in optimal working condition - Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality - Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications: - Previous experience operating laser cutting machines or similar equipment is preferred - Knowledge of electrical discharge machining (EDM), plasma cutting, milling machines, or CNC machines is a plus - Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers - Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in metalworking - Forklift certification is a plus Benefits: - Competitive pay based on experience and skills - Health insurance coverage - Retirement savings plan options - Paid time off and holidays If you have the skills and experience required for this position, we encourage you to apply.
