Hexagon's Autonomy & Positioning division is looking for a Autonomy Software Engineer Ito join our high-tech engineering and manufacturing company that is committed to customer service excellence and continuous improvement. Hexagon A&P’s Autonomous Systems Team is responsible for developing and deploying software to enable our customers to fully utilize their autonomous vehicle’s hardware. We are a collaborative team of motivated engineers with a mission to simplify and advance vehicle technology to empower our customers to unleash autonomy; driving improved efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety.
As an Autonomy Software Engineer I at Hexagon, you will work with the latest technology while solving interesting and challenging problems in multiple industries. This is an entry level position, giving you the opportunity to continue learning on the job. Your coding skills will be honed working on our roughly 20k line codebase. You’ll see a highly refined, multi-threaded software architecture, designed to work in near-real time. You’ll learn debugging and unit-testing skills to insure the continued quality of a system capable of driving 400 tons of total vehicle weight on a private road across the Australian outback at 50mph. Your personal skills will grow working with a small team that’s one of many which contribute to this and other projects. As your skills increase your responsibilities will follow.
