Job Description:

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for facilitating the inventory process for strong omnichannel sales, including lot organization, reconditioning process, photography, and delivery. Ensure all incoming vehicles are properly checked in, triage new inventory as it enters the lot, work closely with reconditioning vendors, and oversee the efficiency of the process, maintain proper internal inventory controls and work with the fleet team to maintain target inventory levels. Develop and maintain proper lot organization to facilitate efficient processes, oversee proper vehicle merchandising and create a visual factory. Photograph all eligible car sales vehicles, ensure proper upload of photos and appearance online, work dashboard and follow-up on rejected photos or unprocessed pending, conduct pre-photo inspection of vehicles to ensure that it meets Hertz reconditioning standards, work with the local team to have any vehicle defects corrected and support lot organization to develop a productive photo process and ensure vehicles are delivered within time SLAs.
