The Media Trafficking Specialist is responsible for the seamless execution of media campaigns by securing and delivering assets to agencies and media partners. This is a vital role that requires strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational and communication skills, and a proactive approach to ensure on-time campaign launches and track performance effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Agency Collaboration
    • Collaborate closely with external agencies and internal teams to secure and deliver assets for media campaigns
    • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of assets to meet campaign launch deadlines.
  • Production Calendar & Coordination:
    • Maintain detailed production calendars to manage campaign flights, rotations, and delivery timelines
    • Ensure alignment of paid media campaigns with properties, third party & internal team. Including media flight and/or product changes.
    • Act as a resource and point person on all active campaigns for property, third party & internal team
    • Coordinate effectively across various channels and platforms to ensure seamless execution
  • Data Management & Analysis:
    • Upload first-party data to agencies regularly to support targeted campaigns and audience segmentation
    • Track and analyze the performance of digital campaigns, extracting insights for optimization
  • Financial Tracking & Reporting:
    • Maintain billing trackers and invoices noting discrepancies as needed
  • Quality Assurance & Branding:
    • Apply a strong understanding of the creative process and brand marketing to ensure consistent messaging and visual identity across media assets
    • Proofread all deliverables and assets prior to trafficking
  • Other Duties As Assigned:
    • Stay updated with industry trends, media platforms, and evolving trafficking practices
    • Seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in media campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field
  • Proven experience in media trafficking, ad operations, or a similar role within the advertising industry
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to manage complex campaigns and assets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to stay informed about media updates across multiple paid channels
  • Familiarity with media production processes, asset delivery, and creative requirements
  • Proficiency in managing production calendars, coordinating flights and rotations, and tracking delivery timelines
  • Knowledge of media IDs for broadcast assets and experience in their acquisition
  • Strong ability to lead meetings, negotiate requirements, and provide timely updates to agencies and stakeholders
  • Experience in managing billing processes and tracking campaign performance
  • Understanding of the creative process and its role in brand marketing
  • Familiarity with ad serving platforms and industry-standard ad tags
  • Proficiency in media trafficking and campaign management tools/software
  • Ability to travel to properties during and outside of scheduled hours
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends, evenings, and holidays
