HERmd is Hiring a Medical Assistant (CMA) Near Millburn, NJ

About the Role

HerMD is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant (CMA preferred) to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our women’s healthcare practice running efficiently in Millburn, NJ!

As a physician-founded practice, we understand the challenges medical providers experience daily. HerMD is resurrecting the patient-provider relationship, allowing our Medical Assistants to spend quality time with each patient and a sustainable work-life balance.

MA Responsibilities 

Our MA will work directly with healthcare practice staff with administrative and clinical duties.

  • Assist physicians and the medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties

  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams

  • Record patient medical history and maintain patient records

  • Explain common medical procedures to patients

  • Assist in basic examinations

  • Clean and sterilize medical equipment

  • Assist with in office procedures

  • Assist the office manager in maintaining medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed.

  • Learn the electronic medical records and chart procedures according to the practice standards. 

  • Work Schedule: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday - 8:00am - 4:30pm

  • Location: Millburn, NJ 07041

Requirements

Requirements

  • Active, unrestricted, CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification in the state of New Jersey is required

  • BLS certification required

  • Strong customer service skills

  • High level of professionalism

  • Ability to multitask

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of gynecology experience is required
