ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Provide and update billing related SOPs that reflect the growth of the business
Direct assigned tasks/special projects and provide assistance as needed to staff
Oversee and audit daily work of billing specialists
Train, coach, council, discipline, and oversee employees involved in energy billing functions
Execute yearly performance evaluations for billing specialists
Provide customer support to customers with disputes or inquiries concerning invoices and billing processes
Implement month end procedures and ensure all tasks are completed timely
Participate in financial meetings as well as any other process meetings that directly or indirectly involve customer’s billing and statements
Assist in coverage for the customer service center when needed
Assist in building maintenance needs and supplies
Answer incoming phone calls and direct them in a polite and professional manner
Assist and direct walk-in customers in a polite and professional manner
Learn and keep up to date on the proper procedure for invoicing energy products and services
Keep an accurate set of records for all sales, invoice tickets, receivers and transfers for the branch
Maintain a complete and accurate inventory record of all energy products
Maintain a set of current energy price lists
Maintain a file for customer records as it relates to sales and purchases
Have a good understanding of energy software and be able to assist with inputting, changing and monitoring work orders
Ensure ODA recordkeeping and reporting requirements are met in an accurate and timely manner
Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required
Excellent Communication Skills
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills
Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver’s License, with acceptable driving record
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous Agronomy Experience
