The Floater and Closer are responsible for providing support to the Lead and Assistant Teachers to ensure a safe and consistent child development environment.
Essential Functions
× Ability to maintain classroom control
× Maintain a safe and healthy classroom
× Uphold confidentiality
Daily Tasks
× Report to the front office upon arrival for daily assignment
× Provide a safe and clean environment for the students
× Actively engage in classroom activities
× Maintain classroom control
× Remove garbage
× Verify papers are sent home
× Properly complete cleaning log
Weekly Tasks
× Sanitize classroom and cots
Monthly Tasks
× Clean behind large furniture
Quarterly Tasks
× Work Parent’s Night Out (2 per year)

× High school diploma preferred
× Successfully pass a background check

Physical Demands
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This can be a full-time or part-time position, Monday through Friday and hours vary. Extended hours may be necessary as needed to cover staffing during business hours.
