00 plus tips with benefits. Located in Albuquerque, NM. Working out of our pool area at Eldorado Hotel and spa.
Essential Duties and Functions / Responsibilities / Tasks :
- Maintain high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
- Greet and welcome guests in the pool area.
- Check identification to ensure minimum age requirements are met for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
- Notate, ring-up, and serve the food and beverage requested by guest.
- Run beverages and food to and from the bar to the pool.
- Provide general pool area upkeep and cleanliness.
- Respond to guest requests and questions and report guest issues and complaints in a hospitable manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Perform any other additional duties as assigned by leadership.
- Scheduled days and times may vary based on need.
- Utilizes a variety of approaches and communication techniques tailored to each situation. Is comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at all organizational levels.
Requirements
- Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.
- Ability to work on your feet in for eight hours or more.
- Must be able to lift / push / reach for / carry 30 pounds frequently.
- Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
- 6 months to 1 year experience; high volume and / or fine dining experience preferred but not required.
