General Responsibilities:

Below are general responsibilities

Responsibilities: Delivery Driving 90% of time

• Follow route scheduling and deliver products to standard
• Check in orders with retailer management
• FIFO Rotation of all Boar's Head products and merchandising to company standards
• Communicate any needs regarding vehicle repairs/maintenance to Office Mgr.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns

Responsibilities: Warehousing 10% of time

• FIFO rotation in the refrigerated warehouse
• Assist in order picking, packing and processing
• Stage orders for shipping

Experience:
- Previous experience as a box truck route driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and physical demands of the job
- Strong organizational skills to effectively execute set delivery routes
- Familiarity with using GPS or navigation systems to navigate routes efficiently
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a professional manner

-A clean driving record: No DWI or Suspensions in 4 last years

-Able to lift 1-25 lbs repeatedly

-Able to bend, crouch, continuously handle products weighing from 1lb to 20lbs

-Push and pull carts weighing up to 300lbs

-Able to work in refrigerated environments

Please note that this position requires being reliable and able to start as early as 6am.

Assigned routes are habitual and consistent. All of our business is scheduled, repeat business. You must be proactive and able to maintain relationships in this position.
