Position Summary:
As the Production Operator, this individual is expected to lead production operators by using their experience and expertise to problem solve and a daily basis. This position reports to the production manager.

· Executing the production schedule and priorities.

· Ensure all equipment is safely maintained and operational.

· Train production personnel.

· Lead a team of production associates, providing guidance, support, and supervision to ensure that all tasks are completed effectively and efficiently while maintaining compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Accountabilities

· Risk Management: Ensure company policies, and ethical standards are maintained, while mitigating production related risks such as injury or machine failure.

· Waste Water Treatment: Treat all wastewater on site.

· Inventory Management: Assist production in keeping raw material accuracy.

· Team Leadership and Development: Leading and managing a team of production associates, providing guidance, support, and training to foster professional growth and enhance team effectiveness.

· Crisis Management: Responding to production related crises or disruptions promptly and effectively to minimize operational impacts. Communicate effectively with the production supervisor and production manager for all areas of concern.

Qualifications
· 1-3 years of demonstrated experience in production management.

· Proven track record of leading employees in a production environment and achieving operational excellence.

· Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Must be an agile leader.

· In-depth knowledge of industry best practices.

· Proficiency in production operations with various equipment types, multi-product manufacturing and distribution environments.

· Effective collaboration and teamwork skills, capable of working across multiple functional areas.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
