Larry’s (Heritage Hospitality), located in The Lawrence House in Uptown, is looking to

hire 2 part-time bartenders for our patio this summer.

Responsibilities

• Serve a selection of cocktails, spirits, beer, seltzer, cider, wine, and non-alcoholic options in accordance with Heritage Hospitality’s standards and recipes.
• Maintain complete understanding of all offerings.
• Manage flow of guests in the work area.
• Check identification of guests to verify legal drinking age.
• Entering items into Square point-of-sale system.
• Cash & card handling.
• Ensure a clean & organized work area.
• Monitoring & stocking of bar inventory.
• Opening & closing of work area.
• Perform side work as needed.

Requirements

• Our ideal candidates will have a hospitality driven mindset with a welcoming disposition.
• Experience working FOH in a bar is not required, though it will be helpful.
• Understanding of cocktails, spirits, beer, seltzer, cider, wine, and non-alcoholic categories.
• Able to comfortably be on feet for the duration of the shift.
• Able to reach, bend, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must demonstrate strong communication, reliability, honesty, and integrity.
• Must be comfortable working solo in the work area.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid BASSET certification.
• Must be able to communicate and write in English. Spanish is a plus.

Availability

• Our patio will be open Memorial Day weekend (5/24) thru Labor Day weekend (9/1) with the following shifts available:
• Fridays (3pm-11pm) *subject to change
• Saturdays (11am-5pm, 5pm-11pm) *subject to change
• Sundays (11am-7pm) *subject to change
• All shifts are weather-pending as the work area is outside.
• Potential to pick up shifts at our year-round inside bar.

Compensation

• $9.48/hr gratuity
