Short Description:
As a key member of the Digital Platforms and Innovation team, you will have a leading role in the day-to-day testing and support of Herc’s digital telematics functionality. You will be responsible for understanding the changing technological needs of the business, analyzing the impacts of change, documenting and supporting communication between relevant groups and stakeholders, and capturing the requirements needed to initiate the change. An ideal candidate must also have strong analytical and communication skills. A basic understanding of mobile app technologies and Agile project management methodologies is helpful but not required. To be successful in this role you should have an understanding of business/functional knowledge, and service orientation.

Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain digital solutions in accordance with SLAs and defined KPIs
• Be the liaison between IT and internal business stakeholders to help capture, support and translate their needs. 
• Partner with operations to drive growth for telematics digital solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert and source of knowledge who contributes their expertise to enhance customer experience, evaluate needs, and determine suitable existing technical solutions to ensure that customer's requirements are met. 
• Execute a growth plan to maximize opportunities for Herc Rentals telematics digital services.
• Support new product offerings and digital transformation initiatives.
• Building and verifying technical reference information, including user guides, documentation, and system requirements.
• Provide analysis and metrics as necessary to enhance performance and improve current and future product features and offerings. 

Educational and Professional Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree 
• 1 years of experience working in an IT environment with application development, requirement gathering, and data analysis
• Understanding and experience in IT functional analysis, business process, use cases, functional design/architecture and functional specification documentation
• Formal training in disciplines of Business Analysis and/or Project Management
• is helpful, but not required

• General AWS/cloud architecture knowledge is helpful but not required
