The College of Business and Economics (CBE) Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for developing relationships within the community to enhance enrollment and alumni engagement.

The person in the position will work with the CBE Dean's Office, academic departments, and the TU admissions office to execute elements of the strategic plan around enrollment and alumni engagement.

Responsibilities and Duties

Create, implement, and coordinate a comprehensive external engagement strategy for CBE to develop and foster relationships with alumni and community partners.

Direct CBE alumni efforts with TU Alumni Association to plan, manage and implement alumni development strategies. Plan and attend events and be a visible advocate and representative of the college and its programs.

Travel to meet with alumni and other constituencies.

Alumni Engagement- Establish relationships with alumni. Expand existing outreach efforts to alumni and coordinate new engagement opportunities.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of college alumni and ensure accurate information and timely updates.

Collaborate with the college Young Alumni Advisory Council (YAAC) on alumni engagement efforts.

Serve as the college liaison to the university alumni relations office and stay up to date with events and outreach efforts.

Student Recruitment- Facilitate and coordinate general CBE student recruitment activities. Plan and attend new student recruitment events at high schools, college fairs and on-campus events in coordination with University Admissions.

Develop relationships with targeted high school counselors and community college advisors.

Organize engaging on-campus events for counselors / advisors and students separate from, and in conjunction with university admissions.

Serve as the college liaison to the university admissions office and stay up to date with events and recruiting efforts.

Telework may be available for this position up to two days per week following the completion of 90 days of service in good standing.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.

Two or more years' experience.

Ability to communicate effectively with multiple internal and external audiences.

Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting to large audiences.

A collaborative work style.

Willingness and ability to leverage personal and professional contacts to establish connections with college.

Salary and Benefits

Targeted Hiring Range is $65,000 - $70,000 and full University benefits that include 22 days of annual leave, up to 15 holidays, personal and sick days;
