We are currently seeking a highly skilled IT Security Architecture and Engineering Specialist to fulfill a crucial role with one of our esteemed clients.

Position Overview: As an IT Security Architecture and Engineering Specialist, you will play a vital role in the development, implementation, and support of security architectures and solutions within our client's corporate business and operational units. You will work collaboratively with a dynamic team to secure enterprise information, assess security requirements, plan and implement security systems, and maintain security policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate business strategies and requirements to determine security requirements.
• Research information security standards and conduct system security and vulnerability analyses.
• Design security systems, including local area networks, wide area networks, virtual private networks, routers, firewalls, and related security devices.
• Specify intrusion detection methodologies and equipment and oversee installation and calibration.
• Monitor security environment and implement enhancements as needed.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize data and trends to prepare system security reports.
• Stay abreast of emerging security practices and standards by participating in educational opportunities and professional organizations.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Experience in developing and documenting security architecture and plans.
• Knowledge of common information security management frameworks.
• Excellent technical knowledge of mainstream operating systems and security technologies.
• Ability to develop, document, and maintain security policies, processes, procedures, and standards.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure and protocols.
• Strong analytical skills to analyze security requirements and implement appropriate security controls.

Additional Skills:

• Highly motivated and technical Cyber Security professional.
• Proficiency in Security Frameworks.
• Project Management experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in performing Security Assessments, Reporting, and Documentation.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, or CompTIA Security are a plus.

Pay Range: $80.00 - $88.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
