Accounting Administrative Specialist

The Accounting Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing support to the accounting department. In this role you will be responsible for updating, entering, and maintaining data in SAP S4/Hana. Accounting Administrative Specialist will also assist and support the Group Accounting department with vendor invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation.

Accounting Administrative Specialist

The Accounting Administrative Specialist is responsible for providing support to the accounting department. In this role you will be responsible for updating, entering, and maintaining data in SAP S4/Hana. Accounting Administrative Specialist will also assist and support the Group Accounting department with vendor invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciliation.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  •  Provide accounting and administrative assistance to the accounting department.
  • Collaborate closely with the accounting team to provide assistance with accounts payable tasks.
  •  Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current.
  • Maintain an orderly filing system to ensure all invoices and vouchers are filed appropriately.
  • Maintain accounting databases by entering data into SAP.
  • Perform regular bank runs to deposit checks and cash.
  • Protect the organization's values by keeping information confidential.
  • Assist other team members with finance and accounting support as needed.
  • Participate in meetings as required.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s/bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • SAP S4/Hana Experience; Preferred but not required.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. Moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phone, and printers, light traffic).
