Description
Complete daily equipment pre-trip safety inspection form
Loading trucks by use of forklifts or by hand before each delivery
Checking orders for accuracy
Obtaining final check on all loads from supervisor or co-worker for proper count and conditions of load
Delivering and unloading materials by hand or by use of equipment to customer’s satisfaction
Recording all merchandise returned and assisting in unloading material for credit
Completing necessary paperwork such as delivery tickets and credit slips
Providing assistance to customers on orders and returns
Coordinating with receiving agents to stock material in a timely manner in the designated areas. Restocking empty bins, straightening, and flat stacking.
Restocking stock customer returns after they have been documented.
Relaying messages sent by customers while on the jobsite
Assisting supervisor and other employees in other work areas as needed
Maintain appropriate licensing and associated requirements as required by the Indiana Department of Transportation.
