• Team Lead RN - Operating Room coordinates activities of staff in the operating room, and provides oversight for front line staff in collaboration with O.R. leadership.
• Serves as liaison between surgeon, operating room staff, and management.
• Acts as resource for questions or issues related to procedures or surgeon preference.
• Coordinates day-to-day operational needs by setting priorities, planning for and addressing staffing needs, and coordinating work across other teams as needed.
• Provides guidance, coaching, and feedback to team members and provides input in employment decisions; performance issues and performance reviews.
• May serve in various clinical nursing roles (i.e., direct care nurse, charge nurse, etc.).

•Position: 40 hours per week
•Shift: Rotating Shifts
•Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN Preferred.
• Two to three years of relevant acute care nursing experience required.
• A member of AORN organization preferred.
• Actively participates in the O.R. Shared Governance Council or Committee.
• Current licensure by the State of Michigan as a registered nurse required.
• ACLS preferred.
