As a Body Shop Technician you are responsible for repairing damaged bodies of vehicles and/or parts in accordance with the factory and dealership specifications and time standards.
What You'll Do:
  • Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing body damage repairs per provided estimate
  • Maintains vehicle functional condition by listening to customer complaints and review Service Advisor notes; conducting inspections; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage
  • Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems
  • Keeps shop equipment in pristine condition by following operating and safety instructions at all times
  • Updates job and product knowledge as required by Hennessy or vehicle manufacturer
  • Communicates professionally and provides updates on customer repairs as needed to Service Advisors and the parts department
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements
What We Expect:
  • Must be able to work in a past-paced environment
  • i-Car certified is preferred
  • Aluminum Certification is preferred
  • OEM Certifications are a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks and demands
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Must submit to a background and drug screen
  • Valid GA Driver's License with a clean MVR
Working Environment & Physical Demands
Duties are performed throughout the dealer premises, both indoors and outdoors. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to move vehicles. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk and sit.
Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing or walking. Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the automotive trades. Must be able to handle hazardous materials safely if needed.
