SUMMARY: We are currently seeking an EP Device Nurse to join our Cardiac Device team. This position is a 0.5FTE (5 shifts/ pay period), 8 hour shifts working Day shift. This specific opening will be responsible for supporting care and care coordination of patients requiring EP services both in ambulatory and inpatient settings. The Electrophysiology Device nurse will partner with the EP team and work cross-functionally with procedural areas, inpatient care areas and in ambulatory care settings to help achieve comprehensive and smooth patient care and provider support. RESPONSIBILITIES Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by: Protecting, promoting, and optimizing health Preventing illness and injury Alleviating suffering through the treatment of the human response Partnering with the patient, their family and significant others Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care
