YOUR ROLE
- Ensure compliance with facility SHE, state, and federal policies and procedures.
- Ensure conformance and support with facility quality management system and facility/department strategic goals.
- Review and plan for production requirements based on schedule from the planner and monitor progress toward schedule completion.
- Notify the planner and Production Manager if the schedule is impacted by unforeseen circumstances (unplanned maintenance downtime, raw material availability, etc.)
- Maintain knowledge of the Production area/support tools and be able to utilize this information to assist in training new employees, troubleshooting problems, supporting maintenance and/or contractors with permit requests and maintenance activities.
- Monitors daily production activities and investigates problems and/or discrepancies that arise. The Supervisor also takes appropriate action to correct the situation including, but not limited to, suggesting operational or safety improvements, training and/or recommending disciplinary action.
- Create/maintain production work instructions for new and existing operations and generate Maintenance work orders when needed.
YOUR SKILLS
- Minimum of a college degree
- 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to multi-task, organize/prioritize and handle competing deadlines
- Ability to complete low complexity project assignments.
- Strong organizational and communication skills
The salary for thisrole is $75,000- $85,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipaterelying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately paymore or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range mayalso be modified in the future.
