Summary :
The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for assisting in the reconciliation of G / L Accounts and monthly financial close.
The Accounting Supervisor assists in managing the accounting, bookkeeping and general office procedures.
Supervisory Responsibilities :
This job has direct supervisory responsibilities.

Education / Experience :
Verbal and Writing Ability :
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employee.
Math Ability :
Proficient in required mathematical skills, including ability to handle accounts payable.
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions. Ability to deal effectively with customers and dealership personnel.
Environment Demands :
Duties are performed primarily in the dealership office. Work includes several hours a day analyzing financial records of the dealership, posting accounts, and performing other administrative tasks.
The office manager frequently interacts with other employees and members of management.
Computer Skills :
Knowledge of computer systems and proficient keyboard skills.
Competency : To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies :
Builds commitment and overcomes resistance.
Develops subordinates' skills and encourages growth.
The employee will be required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties and responsibilities upon the request of a supervisor.
