Overview:
Henderson Systems is seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing, implementing and commissioning low voltage systems such as Access Control, CCTV Video Surveillance, Paging , Audio Video and Structured Cabling Systems. Proficiency in all of these systems are not a requirement but the willingness to learn is.
Duties:
-Install, Terminate and Test Category Cable (Category 5e, Cat6, Cat6A, Etc.).
-Install, Terminate and Test Fiber Optic Cable.
- Install Access Control Systems (Card Readers, Control Panels, Mag Locks, Door Strikes, REX devices, DPS Sensors, etc.).
- Install CCTV Video Surveillance Systems (Cameras, NVRs, VMS, etc.).
- Install Paging and Audio Systems (Intercom, Stadium PA Systems, Indoor PA Systems, etc.).
- Install Audio Video Systems (Projectors, Projector Screens, Conference Room Systems, etc.).
- Climbing Ladders, using lifts, power tools, safety equipment and following job site saftety protocols.
- The majority of our work is local to the Greater Tampa Bay Area, however, we often take on projects that require travel. Willingness to travel is a must for this position.
- Must have reliable transportation to arrive on job sites at the start times required.
- Must be able to aquire a JLA (Jessica Lundsford Act) Badge for school work.
Experience:
- At least (2) years of verifiable experience in the low voltage industry.
- Ability to use power tools and other equipment necessary for the job.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints.
