Position

Henderson Health Care Services, Inc. is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for nights in the Henderson Community Hospital. Hours are full-time. Consists of three (12 hour) shifts. Shifts run 7:00pm to 7:00am.

Requirements

Current Nebraska licensed R.N. or LPN-C required. Bachelor's degree (BSN) from a four-year college is desirable, but not required. Two years of experience in a specialty or acute area with supervisory experience is desirable but will train the right candidate.

Certificates, Licenses, Registration

BLS, ACLS, NRP, and TNCC certifications are required. Certifications and renewals must be obtained within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the manager/supervisor.

Core Duties

• The Registered Nurse is responsible for the supervision and direction of total nursing care delivered on their tour of duty on the assigned shift.
• Work as part of the team performing those clinical and clerical duties necessary to prepare patients for a visit.
• Duties will include rooming patients, taking vital signs, electronically charting, and assisting with any other admitting/discharge procedures.
• Requires accuracy, attention to detail, initiative, and a proactive approach to duties and responsibilities, while working with patients, physicians, and co-workers in a courteous manner.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Seeking an efficient, multitasking, organized people person with a computer and medical experience.
