Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic individual to join our team as a Medical Insurance Verification Representative. In this role, you will play a vital role in ensuring that patients receive the necessary insurance coverage for their medical treatments and services. You will be responsible for verifying insurance eligibility and communicating with insurance providers to facilitate seamless billing processes.

Responsibilities:

· Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients before office visits and medical procedures

· Communicate with insurance companies to resolve any coverage issues or discrepancies

· Assist patients with understanding their insurance benefits and responsibilities

· Collaborate with medical staff and billing departments to ensure accurate and timely billing

· Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times

· Provide exceptional customer service to patients and insurance providers

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred

· Previous experience in medical insurance verification or healthcare administration is preferred

· Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

· Proficiency in computer systems and electronic medical records

· Attention to detail and accuracy
