Full Time and Part Time Clinical Supervisor - Some Remote work is available. During the pandemic, we are currently in the office two days out of the week and will gradually return pending COVID-19 cases.

Helpline Youth Counseling (HYC), a nonprofit agency has been providing youth services in Southeast Los Angeles County since 1971 with a primary purpose of providing therapeutic counseling and assistance to at-risk, low income children, youth and their families.

Mission
The mission of HYC is to serve youth and their families by promoting the development of strong individuals and families in their community. This is accomplished through education, therapeutic approaches, advocacy, and the utilization of community resources.

The Clinical Supervisor will be under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services. The Clinical Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Planning, implementation and evaluation of program services within the County of Los Angeles location.
• Provides guidance and leadership to program staff and Interns.
• Provide clinical supervision to counseling staff/interns and their programs.
• Provide weekly group and individual clinical supervision to pre-licensed Masters level staff who are working towards licensure.
• Provide consultation, training, and support to all counseling staff.
• Review clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, etc.)
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid California License in Psychology, or LCSW, LMFT, LPCC.
• Minimum of 4-6 years post licensed clinical supervision or program management experience.
• Verification of 6 hours of Clinical Supervision training CEUs
• Minimum 5 years direct practice experience.
• Experience in program administration, training direction, and working with a
• community based organization.
• Ability to successfully pass a TB screening test.
• Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residence
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and on weekends.
• Valid California state drivers license.
• Current auto insurance, and a good driving record.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities.
• Excellent administrative and verbal skills.

PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• CAMFT/AAMFT Approved Supervisor status.
• Cultural diversity and multi-lingual skills (Spanish-speaking preferred but not required).
