Job Description: As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in improving the lives of our clients by providing compassionate care and assistance with activities of daily living within the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Supporting clients with mobility, transfers, and positioning.
  • Providing medication reminders as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
  • Performing light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
  • Offering companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Monitoring and reporting changes in clients' condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Clean criminal background check within the last year is a requirement for all applicants.
  • Two-step tuberculosis test administered by a family physician or a TSPOT is mandatory.
  • Completion of a competency test provided by the state if a CNA license is not available.

When putting in an application for Helping Hands Home Health we require that every employee obtains a clean criminal background check within the last year. They will also have to obtain a two-step tuberculosis test by their family physician or a TSPOT and complete a competency test provided by the state if they cannot provide a CNA license.
