HELP Spay Neuter Clinic is currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a full- or part-time Veterinary Surgical Assistant in Newnan, GA. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $16 to $18 per hour, providing an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while advancing your career in veterinary medicine. You'll enjoy a flexible work schedule tailored to suit your needs. Full-time and part-time positions are available with shifts scheduled from Monday to Thursday. Choose between an early morning or afternoon schedule, with a 30 - 45 minute lunch break provided.

Your typical day: Your role as a Veterinary Surgical Assistant revolves around providing meticulous care and support during surgical procedures. Each day, you'll begin by carefully preparing animals for spay/neuter surgeries, ensuring their comfort and readiness. Throughout the day, your focus will shift to monitoring patients during their post-operative recovery, providing attentive care to promote their well-being. Additionally, you'll maintain accurate records of surgical pharmacy inventory, ensuring an ample supply of resources for procedures. Each task you undertake plays a vital role in our mission to promote responsible pet ownership and reduce pet overpopulation within our community.
