Pay : $19-$20 / hour

Job Summary :

The Recruiting Specialist will develop recruitment strategies with hiring managers, source, interview, recap and communicate hiring decisions with hiring team.

In addition, the Specialist will assist in hiring of all field staff and communicate timely updates to the Field Recruitment Manager and other Hiring Managers accordingly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Builds talent pipelines by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites;

providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.

  • Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications. Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements and using a variety of reactive and proactive recruiting techniques.
  • Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; comparing qualifications to job requirements.
  • When applicable, arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules.
  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
  • Improves organization attractiveness by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices;

emphasizing benefits and perks.

Meets and / or exceeds Recruiting Department and overall Organizational goals.

  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
  • Professional communication and organization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Access to insured and reliable transportation.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Communication, or a relevant field preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of previous experience.
  • Prior experience in recruiting or talent acquisition preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with others to exchange information.

Travel requirements

Weekly or monthly travel required
