Position Overview

As a Program Coordinator and a Field Learning Operations team member in one of our Fulfillment Centers, your role will be to facilitate, certify, and support the learning needs of all employees in the building.

This role will liaise between Field Learning and operations to address training needs with impactful and measurable solutions.

Your role will support the scheduling and delivery of products that improve the overall onboarding and the on-the-job learning experience with a specific focus on Food handler and Food safety training and salaried leader training.

The Program Coordinator reports to both the Field Learning Program Manager and is responsible for supporting daily training operational activities within the facility.

Everyday deliverables include but are not limited to : assisting with onboarding new hires, delivering classroom training, and conducting site tours.

Managing training requests received through the intake process and scheduling classes and certifications. Conducting on-the-job training and presenting new product / process launches to the operations teams.

This role will work side by side with cross-functional teams within the site to help implement training products and support process improvements.

You will...

  • Promote food safety, quality, and the Factor safety-first culture through training activities within the fulfillment center
  • Train Cross-Train and Re-Train exempt and non exempt workforce using network standard training methods such as classroom, On-the-Job (OJT) materials and assessments
  • Train, Cross-Train, or Retrain Associates, and Frontline Leaders using network standard training methods such as classroom facilitation, On-the-Job Training (OJT), and leading Virtual Training sessions.
  • Certify and Re -certify hourly workforce on Food handler and servsafe trainings through practical theoretical support training.
  • Assist the Field Learning Operations Leadership team in monitoring the training request intake system to ensure site requests are scheduled and delivered.
  • Help to support internal change management processes for new training products process improvement initiatives
  • Frequently observe and provide feedback to team members and new associates by auditing and coaching
  • Support training coordination efforts through various administrative tasks throughout the shift
  • Document training deliveries through tracking tools created by your Field Team
  • Build and maintain positive rapport with both internal and external customers / stakeholders
  • Conduct Tours of the DC for new associates and frontline leaders
  • Create a positive team dynamic that encourages frontline leaders and associates to ask questions, provide feedback, adapt to the ever-changing business, and stay focused on the customer experience
  • Become and operate as a subject matter expert before delivering training to ensure quality dissemination of knowledge
  • Manage DC relationships and deliver a positive experience to local site partners and support teams (Ops, Safety, FS&Q, HR, etc.)
  • Provide accurate and timely information to your leadership team in your End of shift reports
  • Review and maintain proper training records for compliance
  • Coordinate, communicate, and plan all training activities : collaborate with HR and Dept managers to obtain participant headcount, reserve space, ensure space is set up properly,
  • Assist the Program Manager in monitoring the training request intake system to help schedule training within the site to accommodate incoming training requests.
  • Partner with Dept Managers of Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Ops, Safety, HR, and Sanitation to assess training needs.
  • Work in tandem with the Field Learning Ops team to create an immersive learning experience.

  • Able to speak publicly , eloquently and professionally in both a warehouse and classroom setting

You have

  • A high School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3 years experience managing administrative tasks
  • 2 years of employee engagement, team building and training teams in fast paced environments
  • 2 years experience in communication and facilitating teachings in a classroom setting
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate local site training needs
  • Ability to communicate; express ideas and thoughts clearly and with tact and diplomacy verbally and through written communication channels
