We are wanting to add some bussers to our amazing FOH Team! Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individuals. Summary: Work as a Team with the Hosts, Bartenders and Servers to ensure that guests are happy.
This would include the following:
- Greet guests with a smile.
- Communicate with Host/Hostess and waitstaff.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the front of the house including all tables, chairs, floors, windows and restrooms.
- Assist Servers by providing refills or carrying food trays as needed.
- Maintain adequate supplies in the work stations when dining room is opened.
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils from tables between courses and clears tables after guests leave and take them to the dish area.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Skills:
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must possess and maintain a positive attitude and be highly motivated.
- Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar position preferred.
- Must have ability to move quickly and stand for up to four hours in length.
Other:
- The noise level in the work environment varies.
- The work environment is climate controlled.
- Must possess the ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- While performing the duties of this job, the function is mostly standing for long periods of time.
- The employee must be able to regularly walk, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
- The employee is frequently is required to talk or hear.
- The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move 25 lbs and as much as 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
