Hellas Construction, Inc., The #1 Sports Construction company in North America, is seeking a full-time Transportation Project Manager to join our team. The transportation project manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of transportation projects from initiation to completion. Their duties typically include coordinating project resources, developing project plans and schedules, managing budgets and costs, monitoring project progress, ensuring quality standards are met, and resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

1. Plan, coordinate, and oversee the transportation of heavy equipment to and from construction sites.

2. Develop and implement efficient transportation routes to ensure timely delivery of equipment.

3. Manage maintenance schedules for heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

4. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and pickup of equipment.

5. Monitor and track equipment usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance costs to optimize efficiency.

6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures related to the transportation of heavy equipment.

7. Work closely with project teams to coordinate equipment needs and schedules to support construction activities.

8. Resolve any transportation-related issues or delays that may arise during the project.

9. Develop and manage budgets for transportation and logistics activities related to heavy equipment.

10. Provide regular reports on transportation logistics performance, including key metrics and KPIs.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.

2. Proven experience as a Transportation Project Manager or similar role, preferably in heavy equipment logistics or construction industry.

3. Strong knowledge of transportation management principles, logistics operations, and heavy equipment maintenance.

4. Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively.

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams, external partners.

6. Proficiency in logistics software and tools for route planning, tracking, and reporting.

7. Ability to work under pressure, solve problems efficiently, and make quick decisions.

8. Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements for transportation of heavy equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
