We are seeking a skilled Quality Calibration Technician to enhance our quality management systems across these critical sectors. Role Summary: As a Quality Calibration Technician, you will oversee and manage all aspects of calibration, inspection, and testing processes. You will coordinate with external calibration services and handle the documentation and reporting to uphold the highest standards of quality in line with industry-specific requirements, including ISO 9001, AS9102, and AS9100.

Key Responsibilities:

Calibration Management:

  • Initiate, coordinate, and monitor the calibration of all measurement and testing equipment.
  • Maintain a current calibration schedule and accurate records.
  • Liaise with external calibration providers to ensure timely execution of services.

Gage Calibration:

  • Oversee the calibration of gages, ensuring compliance with scheduled timelines.
  • Arrange for on-site calibration services as necessary.

Supplier Approval:

  • Verify that calibration labs meet ISO17025 standards and are registered with our suppliers across aerospace, medical, and defense sectors.
  • Communicate with internal teams to update and maintain supplier records.

Inspection and Testing:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests at various stages of production to guarantee product quality meets established standards in aerospace, medical, and defense manufacturing.

First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs):

  • Create and maintain FAIRs compliant with industry standards, ensuring documentation aligns with customer requirements across all sectors.

Quality Documentation:

  • Keep documentation for calibration, inspections, and testing current and accurate.
  • Implement and manage document control systems to ensure the integrity of quality records.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or certification in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field; ASQ CCT or CQT preferred.
  • Experience in calibration management, ideally spanning aerospace, medical, and defense sectors.
  • Knowledgeable in industry-specific standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and AS9102.
  • Proficient in metrology, measurement techniques, and testing procedures.

Benefits:
