POSITION: Client Service Representative (CSR - Adoptions)
Hours: Part Time (Various days and hours, including weekends and holidays)
Hourly Pay Rate: $18/hr

The Helen Woodward Animal Center is a global organization that helps companion animals from all over the world find their forever homes. As a Client Service Representative (CSR) in the Adoptions department, you will have the opportunity to showcase professional communication skills by providing high quality customer service to adoptions department clients and visitors. This position would be best suited for applicants with strong interpersonal and customer service skills, a positive attitude, a high degree of professionalism and the ability to multi task and demonstrate sound judgment in fast paced environments. Working with lots of animals and people requires patience, solution focused thinking, clear communication and emotional intelligence. These are skills that our Customer Service Representatives gain and refine with each client/visitor interaction. In addition to counseling prospective adoptive families, this role also involves counseling visitors and clients who are looking to relinquish their pets in accordance with Center policies and procedures.
Working as a Client Service Representative in Adoptions, you will enjoy the company wide culture of appreciation, support from supervisors and management in a positive, healthy work environment and opportunities for advancement along the way. You will be a part of an organization that truly sets the bar for ensuring quality customer service and a high level of animal welfare.
WORK CONDITIONS: 90% of this job is conducted indoors under office conditions and 10% is conducted outdoors. This environment involves close contact with animals and dander.
Helen Woodward Animal Center is a smoke-free environment. Smoking is not permitted in any HWAC building or vehicle.
