Jointhe McNabb Center Team as a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Therapist today!

The MATTherapist is responsible for administering and overseeing allclinical and therapeutic functions of outpatient medication assisted treatment(MAT) program. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• completingpsychosocial assessments
• providing individual
• group and family therapy
• casemanagement/care coordination and advocacy
• completes all diagnosis assessments,treatment plans and discharge plans
• completes and tracks all insuranceinformation and submits all client data into state database
• submits alldocumentation within acceptable Center timeframes

COMPENSATION: Startingsalary for this position is approximately $46,060 /yr based on relevantexperience and education.

Schedule: 

• Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm with some flexibilityrequired to meet the needs of the program.

Travel: NA

Equipment/Technology: 

• Basiccomputer skills are required for email, timekeeping, and documentation in theelectronic medical record.

QUALIFICATIONS - MATTherapist

Education: 

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master'sDegree in Psychology, Marriage and Family therapy, Community Agency Counseling,Social Work, or other closely related field of study. 
• Extensive knowledge ofaddiction and general knowledge of mental health and co-occurring disorders areessential.
• Knowledge of 12 step programs, assessment, diagnosis,treatment planning, and aftercare are also required.

Experience / Knowledge:

• Experienceworking with adults 1:1 and in group setting, as well as, previous experiencein the alcohol and drug field is mandatory. 
• Applicants may have other counselingskills and/or treatment/recovery environment experience that could accommodatethis position.

Physical:

• Minimalexposure to biological hazards.
• Hearing of normal/soft tones and close eye work.
• Valid driver's license.
• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
• CPR and First Aidcertification required (training provided).
• Required to be certified in and adequately implement verbalde-escalation techniques.
• Applicants should be able to exercise sound judgement under pressure.
• Clinical staff may be required to get an F endorsement to transportclients as necessary.
