Helco Contracting is a local, family-owned residential construction company, operating throughout St. Louis County and City since 1978. Today our focus is on the remodel and total renovation of single and multi-family homes that are sold after completion.

We are seeking a remodel laborer with a wide range of skills that can be used throughout the renovation process such as demo, framing, trim carpentry, drywall hanging / taping, painting, electrical, plumbing, roofing, windows, siding, etc. We don’t expect any one candidate to possess ALL of these skills, but we are looking for a candidate with an open mind and a willingness to learn the skills they don’t possess.

Hours: Helco Contracting has an extensive pipeline of jobs, which works to your benefit because there is no shortage of hours. Since most properties we renovate are vacant, hours are available both within the traditional work day and during evenings and weekends.

Pay: This is a 1099 subcontractor position. Hourly rate starts at $15/hour and is determined by experience and ability to expand your skill set. Bonuses are available for exceeding timeline expectations.

Candidates must have:
Reliable transportation to and from job sites throughout St. Louis County and City.
Organization skills to balance multiple job sites and tasks per day.
A flexible mindset and a team-oriented attitude.
