The Role

Join us in the dynamic role of Heirloom's first Grants Manager! You would build and own the grants program with an emphasis on the post-award process. You'll administer the award process including audit and compliance, reporting, budget management, and developing and implementing policies and procedures related to grants. You would be the main liaison for award-related matters with both external funding programs and internal departments, including collaborating with our commercialization and research teams to ensure compliance. What You Will Bring

You have a proven track record of successfully managing and administering federal grants. You have grants experience ideally within at least one of the following: universities, non-profits, foundations, or research facilities, including those operating within large corporations. You are an organized project manager with who has experience building and owning a grants program. You have an expertise in and understanding of the grant landscape and can translate reporting requirements and technical intricacies to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence and compliance. You ideally have experience with donor and grant software, and are comfortable with federal government funding reporting requirements and associated systems.
