Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. As a Drywall Finisher, you will be responsible for applying finishing touches to drywall surfaces, ensuring a smooth and seamless appearance. This is a full-time position located in Eau Claire.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare drywall surfaces by removing old paint or wallpaper, patching holes, and sanding rough areas
- Apply joint compound to seams and screw indentations to create a smooth surface
- Tape and seal joints between drywall panels
- Use trowels, brushes, or spray guns to apply texture or decorative finishes
- Smooth out imperfections and ensure even coverage of joint compound
- Match textures on repaired areas to existing surfaces
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment used in the finishing process
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Attention to detail and excellent craftsmanship
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license
