We are seeking dedicated and passionate Elementary & Middle School Teachers to join our team. As aTeacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will develop and implement lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of our students.

Duties:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning
- Assess student progress through various methods such as tests, quizzes, projects, and observations
- Provide individualized instruction to meet the unique needs of each student
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement strategies for student success
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a productive learning environment
- Foster a love of learning by incorporating hands-on activities, technology, and real-world examples into lessons
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and any concerns or achievements
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends

Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Valid teaching certification/license in Ohio
- Experience working with elementary or middle school students
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in education
- Strong understanding of math concepts including algebra, geometry, and basic math skills
- Excellent proofreading skills to review student work for accuracy and clarity
- Experience coaching sports or leading extracurricular activities is a plus
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
- Familiarity with curriculum development and assessment strategies
- Knowledge of education administration processes is beneficial
