Evening shift Heavy equipment mechanic is needed. Heimes Corporation is seeking qualified personnel to make repairs on equipment/vehicles and perform general maintenance. Heimes Corporation is a construction company based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Heimes Corp. provides a wide range of services including but not limited to: Excavating, Underground Utilities, Recycled Concrete, Plumbing, Directional Drilling, Fiber Splicing, Underground Storage Tanks, Wrecking, Transportation, and Hazardous Materials Cleanup/Hauling (ESI).

Position is full time. Full time applicants must have their own tools and a valid driver’s license. Ability to work on a wide range of equipment/vehicles is helpful. Looking for experience with CASE, CAT, John Deere & Komatsu equipment. Able to work on Ford, Kenworth and many other DOT pickups/trucks. Cummins, CAT, and Detroit engines. Having welding experience as well.

Evening shift’s primary responsibility is to prepare the side dumps and dump trucks for the next workday. Performing general maintenance and repairs, servicing trucks & equipment. Hours are typically 3PM-Midnight, but could be somewhat negotiable to provide additional overtime hours and a shorten work day on Fridays.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and abide by DOT regulations. Zero tolerance policy for cell phone use while behind the wheel (including hands free devices). We utilize the E-Verify system for employment eligibility. For construction safety reasons applicant must speak and understand the English language.

Pay varies depending on previous experience.
