This position is responsible for providing oversight for the SAP project Northeast Region super-users with an emphasis on sales functions. This individual will work in conjunction with super users and management to meet project deliverables and provide valuable input to ensure a successful implementation for the business. This position will report to NE Region STEP Project Manager in Allentown, PA. This role is anticipated to continue as a subject matter expert post implementation to refine and enhance business & system processes. Responsibilities
Obtain considerable knowledge of new SAP and peripheral systems (Quote to Cash / Supply Chain workstreams) to assist in developing a change management strategy for the region sales and logistics organization
Standardize and streamline work processes in the new system between management units
Participate in discussions concerning new SAP system development and provide recommendations as to the needs of the Northeast Region
Assist with testing and validation of new SAP system utilizing knowledge of existing systems
Manage mater data set up and legacy system cleansing for the Northeast Region
Provide training for Northeast Materials deployments
Contribute to the development and maintenance of standardized SAP security roles with consideration to separation of duties and audit concerns
Analyze reports and assist with development of reports required by management
Assist with user questions, troubleshooting after deployment
Serve as Quote to Cash / Supply Chain liaison with STEP/SAP team post go-live representing Northeast Region
Requirements
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
Solid knowledge of the organization, the competences and products of Heidelberg Materials
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Some travel required (up to 25% anticipated during the project within the NE region and to Corporate HQ)
Knowledge of manufacturing, inventory, accounting, sales and material movement a plus
