POSITION OVERVIEW:
The paint/wallcovering apprentice is an entry-level position focused on learning the skills and techniques required for commercial paint and wallcovering jobs. This includes the application of various coatings to surfaces such as wood, drywall, steel, stone and block at a variety of interior and exterior work sites, the application of following paints: oil base, latex and epoxies and the application of vinyl, fabric, paper wall coverings. The apprentice works under the supervision of experienced painting professionals to develop their expertise in this field.

As a federal contractor, Heggem-Lundquist is required to participate in the federal government's E-Verify program, which confirms employment authorization of all newly hired employees and most existing employees through an electronic database maintained by the Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security.
