Mercaz Academy, a parochial school in Plainview, NY is seeking a sixth grade teacher to grow with our exciting new community based school.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Prepare and implement lessons and activities to teach and inspire students with a differentiated approach within a risk free environment.

• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and specialists to develop curriculum, plan special projects, and solve problems.
• Work and communicate effectively with parents in formal and informal conferences and written reports.
• Create and implement lessons using a hands-on approach.
• Incorporate technology into the curriculum
